Peggy is an attorney, author, REALTOR® and investor who has made Boone, North Carolina her home since 1994. In her 20 years of practice as a certified mediator and debt relief attorney, she helped thousands of families through financial crisis. It is her great joy to touch and improve the lives of others in all real estate and business transactions. Her real estate brokerage, Venus Properties, Inc. specializes in pre-foreclosure and foreclosure properties, bank owned properties, and wholesale investor properties.
Peggy is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the State Bar of Texas, the Iowa State Bar, the North Carolina Assoication of REALTORS®, the National Association of REALTORS® and the High Country Association of REALTORS®. She received certification in Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource (SFR), the only distressed property certification for real estate professionals recognized and endorsed by the National Association of REALTORS®.

Jeff Riley, Broker, REALTOR®
Jeff began his real estate career after retiring from the U.S. Air Force where he worked in Health Care Management. While in the Air Force, he was recognized for his experience, hard work and dedication by being hand-picked to work on the Air Force Surgeon General’s staff. Jeff brings that same hard work, service and dedication to his real estate career.
Jeff has sold beachfront condominiums, homes in new home subdivisions and completed traditional real estate sales transactions but he did not want to be just another real estate agent. It was his desire and passion for helping others that lead him to become an expert in short sales and assisting homeowners avoid foreclosure. He has also been involved with many creative real estate transactions for both the buyers and sellers as well as helping investors build their real estate portfolios. Jeff holds real estate licenses in North Carolina and Georgia. He and his wife Teresa live in Asheville and have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
Jean Teague, Broker, REALTOR®
Jean graduated Appalachian State University in 1980 with a degree in education. She was captain of the volleyball and softball teams, receiving several most valuable player awards. After graduating, she couldn't bear to leave her beloved mountains, so she developed skills in sales/marketing and real estate in the vacation/second home market. Our clients all find Jean extremely lovable and loads of fun as she finds them just the right property or buyer. She loves helping people solve their housing problems, whether it's in short sales/foreclosure relief, putting together lease/option buyers and sellers, or coordinating traditional real estate sales.
